Crisis Response & Intervention

NCCA’s REACH team (Recognize warning signs, Engage with empathy, Ask and assist those at risk, Cultivate resilience and communicate hope, and Help students access care) is composed of school counselors, school social workers, and school psychologists.

If you are concerned about your child and their risk to self or others, please contact a member of the REACH team about your concerns. If your child is at imminent risk (verbalizing or indicating thoughts of suicide and have a plan), immediately contact 911.

Outside of school hours, and for assistance 24/7, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is now available nationwide as the new 3 digit number to contact for mental health and suicide crises.
